உயிர்மெய் தீண்டும் நேரம்
தணலாய் தகிக்கும் வேளையில்
கனலாய் வெடிக்கும் ஏகனவன்...

தீயாய் எரிக்கும் சொந்தமும்
தீயாய் வரிக்கும் பந்தமும்
உயிர்மெய் தீண்டும் நேரம்
காதலாய் தகிக்கும் வேளையில்
காவலாய் துடிக்கும் அலந்தரி...

இருபதில் இளமைக் காதல்
இதயத்தின் கூடல்...!
அறுபதில் முதுமைக் காதல்
அறுசுவையின் தேடல்...!
அழகாய் பகை முடித்த
அன்பின் பாடல்!

வாழ்த்துக்கள் நயனி, நன்றி
