ஹப்பா நல்லவேளை கடைசி நிமிஷத்துல சுதாரிச்சு விபத்துல இருந்து தப்பிச்சுட்டா. மூன்று ஆண்டுகளாக ஜெயன் பட்ட வலிகளையும் வேதனைகளையும் மிக சரியாக சொல்லி அவளின் நிலையை புரிய வைத்து விட்டாள். நிதர்சனத்தை உரைத்து அவனை தேற்றவும் முயல்கிறாள். வாமன் மன்னிப்பு கேட்டாலும், ஜெயன் உயிரோடு இருக்கும் போதே அவன் இறந்து விட்டான் என நினைத்து, அவள் ஏகனிடம் கொண்ட ஈர்ப்பு அவளை உருத்திக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறது, அதனால் அவளால் மன்னிக்க முடியவில்லை. அவன் பாதுகாப்பில் இருக்க மறுத்து, திக்கற்ற நிலையிலும் தன் சுயமரியாதை இழக்காமல் அவனை விட்டு செல்கிறாள் ஏகனின் நிலை தான் பாவம்.
